Salary: AC3 £50,253- £56,535 per annum

The University of West of Scotland are recruiting for a Lecturer in Mental Health to join the department of Mental Health, Midwifery and Health Division within the School of Health and Life Sciences.
The successful applicant will support the delivery of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the Division, as well as contributing to the wider educational portfolio through subject specialism. They will also play a key part in contributing to the enhancement of the student experience.
The postholder will provide academic and pastoral support to students within academic and practice learning environments. As well as this they will be responsible to engage in research and commercial related activity.
The successful candidate should have the following:
- Professional registration (NMC or HCPC)
- Relevant Masters degree (or nearing completion – must complete within 12 months of commencement [essential])
- Sufficient breadth or depth of specialist knowledge and experience in the discipline to work within established research/teaching programmes.
- Experience in supporting the delivery of education and learning in the health and social care environment.
- Have been involved in supervising and assessing or contributed to the assessment of students in practice
