The University and College Admissions Service (UCAS) has published data on confirmed places on undergraduate higher education courses 28 days after A-level results following the Clearing process. For undergraduate nursing courses across the UK, it shows a 12% decrease in the number of acceptances while undergraduate midwifery courses have seen a slight increase. This is set against an overall higher education sector decrease of 2%.
