UWE Bristol requires External Examiner for Allied Health Professions (Paramedic Science)

UWE Bristol, School of Health & Social Wellbeing, is seeking a Field External Examiner in the Field of Allied Health Professions for Paramedic Science modules. The post will be for 4 years commencing on 1st September 2026.

Essential: Applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

The subject cluster requires a Field External Examiner to represent a range of academic perspectives for Paramedic Science and the portfolio will cover some of the following modules:

List of modules

  • Advanced Life Support Skills
  • Emergency Care of the Child
  • Emergency Care of the Elderly
  • Evidence Based Paramedic Practice
  • Paramedic Practice 2
  • Psychosocial Aspects of Paramedic Practice
  • Trauma and mass casualty management

Please note, your final portfolio may require you to cover modules beyond this specific professional area.
