We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HCPC-registered Diagnostic Radiographer to join our growing academic team in the School of Health & Wellbeing at the University of Worcester. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the future of our BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography programme as Course Leader.
Depending on skills and experience, the successful candidate will be appointed as either a Senior Lecturer (Teaching) & Course Leader or a Principal Lecturer (Teaching) & Course Leader. At Principal Lecturer level, the postholder will also provide academic leadership to the Diagnostic Radiography team and wider department of Allied Health.
We are looking for a forward-thinking individual who is passionate about Diagnostic Radiography education. You will have a strong understanding of the current healthcare landscape, including the integration of technologies such as artificial intelligence, and be committed to preparing students for modern clinical practice.
You should possess:
- HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer
- A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Relevant experience in teaching and course management in higher education (for appointment as Principal Lecturer, this will include significant leadership experience)
- A postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject (a doctoral qualification is desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with a collaborative and student-centred approach
