Pg Dip Health Visiting and School Nursing (Person Centred Practice)

The Division of Nursing and Paramedic Science at Queen Margaret University (QMU) in Edinburgh is seeking an External Examiner to collaborate with us on our Pg Diploma Health Visiting and School Nursing (Person Centred Practice) Programmes.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic staff who are a NMC registered nurse as well as holding their Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) qualification, alongside appropriate academic qualifications including a teaching qualification and master’s or higher-level qualification.

External Examiners are responsible for external moderation of assessments, attendance at Board of Examiner meetings and submission of an annual report. The appointment will be from September 2026 for a period of 4 years 3 months.
