The School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Worcester is seeking an experienced and qualified academic to serve as an external panel member for the approval of the BSc Hons Midwifery and BSc Hons Midwifery degree (Apprenticeship).

The approval is scheduled for the week commencing 23rd February 2026.
Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the university.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Act as a panel member at the approval event
• Review documents
• Provide a short report

Qualifications:

• NMC registered Midwife
• Relevant knowledge and expertise in midwifery education and apprenticeships
• Relevant experience of HE teaching at the appropriate level-normally at least three years, and normally in a course leader role or similar
• No professional relationships with the University of Worcester (or its partner Institutions) or staff involved in the course in the last five years
