The School of Health at Leeds Beckett University is looking to appoint two External Examiners for our Undergraduate and Postgraduate Physiotherapy programmes. The posts start in 1 November 2026 for four years.
Applicants should be registered with the HCPC and be working in UK Higher Education with experience of teaching and examining pre-registration Physiotherapy programmes.
External Examiners attend Board of Examiners meetings at least once a year, submit an annual report and review coursework. Previous experience of external examining is not necessary as the University will provide online induction training and a mentor. External Examiner appointments are subject to approval by the University.
