The School of Health at Leeds Beckett University is looking to appoint an External Examiner to our Nursing and Healthcare subject group. This role is to externally examine our Postgraduate Specialist Community Public Health Nursing programmes in Health Visiting and School Nursing that may also be delivered as apprenticeships. This role last four years and commences in November 2026.
Applicants will be a NMC registered as a SCPHN (Health Visiting or School Nursing), be working in UK Higher Education and have experience of teaching, learning and assessment in both postgraduate and apprenticeship education. Previous experience of external examining is not required as Leeds Beckett University will provide online induction training and mentorship. External Examiner appointments are subject to approval by the University.
