Health Sciences University (HSU) is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for its course: PGCert First Contact Practice

The appointment will start in May 2026 with a normal tenure of 4 academic years.

Previous external examining experience is strongly preferred but not essential. Applicants must have knowledge and understanding of the UK sector agreed reference points for the maintenance of academic standards and the assurance and enhancement of quality at FHEQ Levels 7. Applicants must have competence and experience in the field of teaching and learning in HE and have knowledge or experience in teaching or supporting healthcare professionals working in primary care settings.
