The University of Gloucestershire’s School of Education, Health and Science is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for its postgraduate pre-registration physiotherapy course.
The role commences immediately on appointment for a four-year term. An experienced external examiner would be preferred, but those seeking a first post and having relevant clinical and educational experience would also be considered.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing assessment requirements, feedback, and grades
- Attending online Module Boards of Examiners (MBEs)
- Submitting an annual report on assessment standards and practices
- Providing feedback on proposed curriculum developments
The annual fee is £425 (£475 in the first year which includes attendance at an Induction session, conducted remotely). Appointees must hold no more than one other concurrent External Examiner position and meet the University’s eligibility and right-to-work requirements.
