The School of Health is seeking an External Examiner for the Master of Diagnostic Radiography course and CPD modules at The Robert Gordon University.
The Master of Diagnostic Radiography (MDRad) course has a four-year on-campus and placement structure with SCQF levels 7-11. It enables students to gain HCPC Diagnostic Radiographer registration through academic and clinical blocks. All of the final year academic modules are delivered and assessed at Masters level.
Additionally, we run a CPD portfolio that includes Competence in Intravenous Administration, Contract Learning for Professional Development
and Fundamentals of Radiographic Image Interpretation for Appendicular Skeleton and Chest.
As part of a team of two, the post requires external moderation of assessments, review of assessment, completion of an annual monitoring report and attendance at the relevant Assessment Boards.
The term of office will be four academic years commencing from October 2026, and applications are invited. It is essential you are currently registered as a Diagnostic Radiographer by the HCPC, together with evidence of postgraduate study.
Full course details and documentation will be provided to the appointee, and an induction will be offered (to be held following appointment).
