External Examiner for Radiotherapy and Oncology modules

UWE Bristol, School of Health & Social Wellbeing, is seeking a Field External Examiner in the field of Radiotherapy and Oncology. The post will be for 4 years commencing on 1st September 2026.

Essential: Applicants must be registered as Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).

The subject cluster requires a Field External Examiner to represent a range of academic perspectives in Allied Health Professions and the portfolio will cover some of the following UG / PG Radiotherapy and Oncology modules.

List of modules:

  • Advancing Radiotherapy Professional Practice
  • Autonomous Radiotherapy Practice
  • Brachytherapy principles and clinical applications
  • Cancer Care and Communication Skills in Radiotherapy
  • Clinical Radiotherapy Practice 3
  • Communication Skills in Radiotherapy and Cancer Care
  • Fundamental Applications of Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology (AEL)
  • On Treatment Review: Radiotherapy
  • Progression to Autonomous Radiotherapy Practice
  • Research and Evidence in Practice (Radiotherapy and Oncology)
  • Research and Evidence in Practice (Therapeutic Radiography)

Please note, your final portfolio may require you to cover modules beyond this specific professional area.
