We are urgently looking for a dedicated individual to undertake the role of external examiner for our BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult) course at Sheffield Hallam University.
Main duties:
- Moderate course modules and Practice Assessment documentation.
- Review standardisation practice to support quality assurance.
- Input into Course Module Meetings if required
- Meet with the course team
- Meet students at least once over the academic year
- Act as a critical friend
- Provide an annual report
You should have appropriate expertise and experience to be able to undertake a role in the assurance of academic and quality assurance standards in Higher Education. We are seeking to appoint a Nursing and Midwifery Council registrant within Higher Education, to meet professional and statutory body requirements.
The appointees will be required to moderate a sample of scripts in relation to selected modules within the above programme. You will also be required to produce an annual report and attend course and module review meetings.
