External Examiner – Environmental Health programmes

The School of Health at Leeds Beckett University is looking to appoint an External Examiner for our undergraduate Environmental Health programmes (standard, apprenticeship and franchise), to join a team of four examiners. The post starts in September 2026 for four years.

Applicants should be EHRB accredited or equivalent and be working in UK Higher Education with experience of teaching and examining at undergraduate level. Previous experience of external examining is not necessary as the University will provide online induction training and a mentor. External Examiner appointments are subject to approval by the University.

Due to potential reciprocity issues, we are unable to appoint from the following institutions:

  • University of the West of England
  • Ulster University
  • University of Northumbria
  • University of Greenwich
