External Examiner – Community Specialist Practitioner- District Nursing

The School of Health at Leeds Beckett University is looking to appoint an External Examiner to our Nursing and Healthcare subject group. This role is to externally examine our Postgraduate Community Specialist Practitioner- District Nursing programmes that are approved with integrated Non- Medical Prescribing. This role last four years and commences in November 2026.

Applicants will be a NMC registered with the recorded District Nurse and prescribing qualifications, be working in UK Higher Education and have experience of teaching, learning and assessment in both postgraduate and apprenticeship education. Previous experience of external examining is not required as Leeds Beckett University will provide online induction training and mentorship. External Examiner appointments are subject to approval by the University.
