External Examiner: BSc (Hons) Podiatry (Integrated Degree Apprenticeship)

This is a 3-year undergraduate apprenticeship course, which will operate on a September entry point. The appointment will start in September 2025 with a normal tenure of 4 academic years.

Previous external examining experience is strongly preferred but not essential. Applicants must have knowledge and understanding of the UK sector agreed reference points for the maintenance of academic standards and the assurance and enhancement of quality at FHEQ Levels 4-6. Applicants must have competence and experience in the field of teaching and learning in HE and be an HCPC-registered Podiatrist.

Full criteria for the appointment and expectations of the role can be found in our External Examining Policy. A fee is payable in line with the sector norms and reasonable expenses will also be covered, subject to standard HMRC regulations.
