The University of Suffolk is seeking 3 external academic panel members for the reapproval of BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing [inc degree apprenticeship], MSc Adult Nursing (pre-registration), BSc (Hons) Children’s Nursing [inc degree apprenticeship] and BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing [inc degree apprenticeship]
The reapproval event will be held in person at the University of Suffolk on Tuesday 24th February.
Prior to the event you will be given 2 weeks to review the documentation and provide feedback in advance of the event, this allows us to have collegiate nature and share feedback with the course team to support their preparation for the event.
We are seeking 3 experienced and qualified academics with a background and knowledge in the adult nursing, children’s nursing and mental health nursing, who should be able to demonstrate:
- appropriate competence, experience, and continuing active involvement in the relevant subject discipline.
- relevant academic and/or professional qualifications, normally to at least level 6 for Children’s Nursing and Mental Health Nursing and level 7 for Adult Nursing.
- knowledge and understanding of relevant external reference points for the maintenance of academic standards, assurance and enhancement of quality.
- NMC registered in either adult, child or mental health nursing
- apprenticeship experience desirable

The position attracts a one-off payment of £200, subject to evidence of eligibility to work in the UK and other HR requirements.
