Council of Deans of Health Highlands and British Islands represents member HEIs: The Guernsey Institute, The Government of Jersey, The University of Gibraltar, University College Isle of Man, University of the Highlands and Islands, and the University of the West of Scotland. The members are exploring issues common to remote and rural healthcare education providers and populations.

Josie joined the Council as a Policy Officer in 2024, and moved to the events team in 2025. She previously led Mental Health and Learning Disability Workforce Transformation Programmes at Health Education England, and worked with London’s Strategic Health Authority, the South East London Workforce Development Federation, and Camden Council.
