Introducing advanced practice

In March 2018 the Council of Deans of Health was commissioned by Health Education England (now NHS England) to lead a project on the development of advanced practice in England, focusing on the interface with higher education providers (HEIs). This project was part of HEE’s development and implementation of the 2017 Multi-professional framework for advanced clinical practice in England and coincided with the introduction of an apprenticeship for advanced practice in England.
