This webinar explores the health research pipeline, from early student engagement through to developing independent research leaders. It highlights the key stages, challenges, and opportunities across the pipeline including undergraduate research literacy, postgraduate pathways, and strategies for supporting postdoctoral progression and research leadership. Drawing on experiences of people at different stages of their research careers, the session looks at practical approaches to strengthening research capacity, improving equity of access and progression, and creating the conditions for sustainable, research‑active environments across health disciplines.

This event is part of the Council’s Research Month 2026.
