The University of Salford in Greater Manchester is looking for an External Examiner starting in September 2026 to oversee the below programmes which are available as either apprenticeships or fee funded
- PgDip Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner (Adult Social Care Nursing)
- PgDip Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner (Adult Social Care Nursing) with Independent Non Medical Prescribing
- PgDip Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner (Children’s Nursing)
- PgDip Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner (Children’s Nursing) with Independent Non Medical Prescribing
- PgDip Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner (District Nursing)
- PgDip Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner (District Nursing) with Independent Non Medical Prescribing
- PgDip Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner (General Practice Nursing)
- PgDip Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner (General Practice Nursing) with Independent Non Medical Prescribing
- PgDip Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner (Learning Disabilities Nursing)
- PgDip Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner (Learning Disabilities Nursing) with Independent Non Medical Prescribing
- MSc Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner (Top-Up)
A suitable candidate will have experience in teaching and examining at a UK HE institution, have a good understanding of quality assurance issues at HE level, including the QAA Quality Code and have specific subject knowledge in the programme being considered.
Previous experience as an External Examiner is preferred but not essential. The appointment will be for four academic years.
