Plymouth Marjon University* is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for the FdSc Assistant Practitioner and Higher-Level Apprenticeship Assistant Practitioner (FdSc).

About the role
The External Examiner will engage with the provision virtually (including attendance at online Module Assessment Boards), and, where appropriate, in person. The External Examiner will be required to submit both an interim (brief) and standard report on an annual basis. Fees are payable in line with sector norms, along with reasonable expenses.
All prospective External Examiners will need to be registered with either the National Midwifery Council (NMC) or The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Recent External Examiner experience is desirable, although the University will provide a mentor for first-time External Examiners. In addition, all new External Examiners will be invited to an annual induction event. The University regrets that nominations from current or recently retired colleagues from University of Bedfordshire, Northumbria University, and DN Colleges Group cannot be considered for this role at the present time.
The University is unable to accept nominations from individuals who will already hold two or more EE appointments at the time of their proposed appointment.
