UWE Bristol, School of Health & Social Wellbeing, is seeking a Field External Examiner in the field of Radiotherapy and Oncology. The post will be for 4 years commencing on 1st September 2026.
Essential: Applicants must be registered as Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
The subject cluster requires a Field External Examiner to represent a range of academic perspectives in Allied Health Professions and the portfolio will cover some of the following UG / PG Radiotherapy and Oncology modules.

- Advancing Radiotherapy Professional Practice
- Autonomous Radiotherapy Practice
- Brachytherapy principles and clinical applications
- Cancer Care and Communication Skills in Radiotherapy
- Clinical Radiotherapy Practice 3
- Communication Skills in Radiotherapy and Cancer Care
- Fundamental Applications of Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology (AEL)
- On Treatment Review: Radiotherapy
- Progression to Autonomous Radiotherapy Practice
- Research and Evidence in Practice (Radiotherapy and Oncology)
- Research and Evidence in Practice (Therapeutic Radiography)
Please note, your final portfolio may require you to cover modules beyond this specific professional area.
