The University of Chichester is seeking to appoint a new External Examiners for two of our pre-registration Adult Nursing programmes. Our fantastic current external examiner is retiring in September 2026, so the hunt is on for a special person to cover the following two programmes:
- BSc (Hons)Adult Nursing
- PGDip Adult Nursing
The appointed external examiner will need to meet online, or in person once a year with a cross-section of students and prepare an annual report. Samples of student work will be available online for moderation.
Tenure will be for a period of four years.
Applicants should have a good understanding of UK Higher Education sector, quality, standards, and quality assurance. Applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
Unfortunately, quota restrictions mean we cannot accept applications from candidates from:
- Canterbury Christ Church University
- Liverpool John Moores University
- University of Bournemouth
- University of Hertfordshire
- University of Sussex
- University of the West
- University of Winchester
