External Examiner – PG Certificate in Leading Practice Education

We are seeking a Senior or Principal Fellow as External Examiner for the PG Certificate in Leading Practice Education.

The PG Certificate in Leading Practice Education is a part-time course for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals who are in an educational role in their current practice. It comprises of three 20-credit modules and may be taken between in between 1-3 years.

The University of Brighton offers extensive support for External Examiners and holds workshops annually. Further support is also provided by the Course Lead and the postgraduate Subject Lead.

Applicants are advised that the University applies the following criteria to
External Examiners:

  • The area of expertise of External Examiners is within the area of examinations undertaken.
  • Applicants should have recently been employed (or are still employed) within a university appointment.
  • They must not have been a University of Brighton examiner within the last five years.

Commencement date January 2027 for a period of 4 years
