Council of Deans of Health member trustee

As we embark on our new strategy for the Council, we are seeking two enthusiastic individuals, who share the Council’s vision and values, to join our Trustee Board.

We are looking for people who can bring a variety of skills and experience, including the ability to work strategically, expertise in charity governance and compliance, and commercial acumen. Previous Trustee Board experience is not required.

As a trustee, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in influencing policy, strengthening membership engagement, and shaping the future direction of our organisation. Our values of inclusivity, innovation, and impact underpin everything we do, and our strategic aims reflect our commitment to advancing healthcare education and research.

The two member trustees will join the newly appointed independent trustee and should be willing to learn, collaborate effectively, demonstrate emotional intelligence, and engage fully with the aims and objectives of our organisation to join our Board.

We are particularly keen to welcome Trustees who will bring diverse perspectives and ensure our Board is inclusive and representative.

Any employee of a Council of Deans of Health member organisation can apply – you do not have to be a named member. Please forward this opportunity to anyone in your faculty or organisation who may be interested in one of these roles.

Prior to appointment, we will confirm with the first named member of your organisation that they support the application, so please discuss with them before submitting your application.
