The Council of Deans of Health is commitment to upholding high standards of transparency, accountability, and excellence in its governance and leadership.
The Council of Deans of Health is a charitable company limited by guarantee, incorporated on 29 November 2019 and registered as a charity on 5 December 2019 in England and Wales and on 25 February 2020 in Scotland. The company was established and is governed under its articles of association which established the objects and powers of the charitable company.
Articles of association
The Council’s Articles of Association are our governing document, outlining the charity’s structure, charitable purposes and rules for operation.
Our board of trustees
The Council’s governance is provided by a board of trustees comprising up to six members drawn from the Council’s membership, up to six lay trustees, and a Chair.

The Council’s 2025 strategy sets out the charity’s mission, values and core strategic aims.

The Council’s statutory annual report and financial statements covers the previous academic year and provides an overview of our activity and achievements.
