The Council is running a series of CoDHcasts on the theme of anti-racism in academia and health. The series involves speaking to academics and researchers from our membership, as well as interviewing some of the #150Leaders from the Student Leadership Programme.

Professor Aisha Holloway, Head of Nursing Studies at the University of Edinburgh and Programme Lead: Research and Evidence for Effective Practice of the Global Nursing Now Campaign, reflects on her own academic career and discusses the influence and complexity of identity. Aisha reflects on the power of the Black Lives Matter movement and considers the opportunities and challenges for our own sector.
