New Report: AHP Leadership in Academia: opportunities, challenges and current positioning

Nations:

The University of the West of England (UWE) in partnership with the Council and Health Education England have produced a report on the academic leadership in the allied health professions. The report aims to gain a deeper understanding of the perceptions of key stakeholders in relation to the current extent of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) in leadership roles within academia. The researchers, Dr Marc Griffiths and Dr Vivien Gibbs, have undertaken an exploration of the potential barriers, challenges and opportunities that exist for AHPs to undertake leadership roles within higher education and use the findings to offer recommendations for the future.
