The School of Health and Care delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and post graduate courses for professionals working in health and social care settings including; nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, paramedic science, operating department practice, diagnostic radiography, clinical psychology and public health. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including Advanced Clinical Practice, Independent prescribing and Global Healthcare Management.
The Role
As Senior Teaching Fellow you will lead the development of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the physiotherapy portfolio. You will be responsible for leading the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment and will contribute to course quality monitoring and enhancement, working with a range of external partners and stakeholders.
You will lead on aspects of the student learning experience including the leadership of staff teams. Based within the School of Health and Care you will work with and lead academic colleagues to enrich the student learning and teaching experience to ensure relevant aspects of research, enterprise and professional context are embedded in modules and courses.
Qualifications Required
• Master’s degree in an appropriate subject and an appropriate professional qualification and/or membership
• Registered Physiotherapist with the HCPC
Our Successful Candidate
You will be a HCPC registered physiotherapist with demonstrable experience of successful teaching at higher education and/or substantial clinical experience and expertise.
You will be an experienced team leader who is enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with high-quality presentation skills, ability to mentor and coach other members of the team.
