This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development and training of District Nurses in the vibrant School of Nursing and Health Sciences and to contribute to the promotion of teaching, research and reach-out activities across the faculty. You will join our creative team of nurse educators and contribute to our thriving partnership with schools. The District Nurse Apprenticeship is a new development and we require an experienced and enthusiastic person to lead this programme.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a District Nursing background with a passion for education, and supporting the apprentices on this programme The role also requires the successful candidate to take be an autonomous practitioner who can offer expert knowledge, guidance and support to the nurse apprentice and the wider team. The Programme Leader role is both exciting and challenging and requires excellent knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning; supporting staff and trainees within and across teams, and successfully leading modules in an HEI setting.

You will have a District Nursing qualification and have wide experience of education, assessment and student support . If you hold the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
