We are seeking an experienced midwife with a passion for education and supporting the student midwives in a practice setting. The role also requires the successful candidate to take be an autonomous practitioner who can offer expert knowledge, guidance and support to the student midwife and the wider team. The Clinical Link Tutor is both exciting and challenging and requires excellent knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning; supporting staff and students within and across teams while successfully leading modules in an HEI setting.
The Clinical Link Tutor will primarily support students on the BSc (Hons) Midwifery Practice programme in the practice setting in order to support the achievement of clinical and academic elements of the programme. They will offer support to the practice placement providers to ensure the NMC requirements are met.
You will have a Degree or higher qualification in midwifery and a post graduate qualification in education (PGCE) and have substantial experience in supporting, supervising and assessing students in the practice setting.
