We are seeking an experienced Registered Midwife for the position of Senior Lecturer in Midwifery Education. This is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the education and training of future midwives. We offer both traditional degree and apprenticeship degree routes leading to a midwifery qualification, and our postgraduate provision includes the newborn and infant physical examination (NIPE) and Professional Midwifery Advocate programmes. An exciting new opportunity for September 2024 is the addition of our Lancaster campus for the delivery of midwifery programmes.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of aspiring midwives. We are seeking an individual with demonstrable experience of working in the Higher Education sector, with knowledge of a broad range of contemporary midwifery practice and research. You must be a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and have relevant post-registration experience as a midwife.
This role is based in Lancaster and will require flexibility to travel to our Carlisle Fusehill Street campus.
