We are seeking an individual with vision and academic ambition to provide leadership and academic capacity in the discipline of Nursing, and to contribute to Brunel University London’s continuous growth as a centre of excellence both nationally and internationally in nursing education and research. Expertise in any area of nursing will be considered.

Brunel University London is currently a leading provider of School and Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) programme. The University is seeking to expand the provision/portfolio of nursing programmes with Nursing Associates (apprenticeship) programme expected to start from Sept 2020. With modern, purpose built teaching facilities, set within a vibrant campus based University, Brunel provides excellent opportunities to work alongside sector leading academics from a wide range of health related subjects including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Public Health, Social Work, Physician Associate, Sports Science, Psychology and Medicine (from 2021).

Applicants must have experience of the delivery of high-quality teaching and of the development and leadership of nursing education. It is their responsibility to develop and execute a plan to increase the provision/portfolio of nursing programmes at Brunel. A national and international research profile in related area is desirable.
Brunel University London is a research-intensive University; therefore, the successful applicant will be expected to develop high quality research in the newly created Division.  Experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level is essential. Applicants will also be a registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or international equivalent. An essential requirement is for the successful applicant to satisfy the requirements of checks by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
