The School of Health and Life Sciences (HLS) is a multidisciplinary School, with a diverse range of programmes delivered at our Ayr, Dumfries, Lanarkshire, London and Paisley campuses to a combined total of around 6000 students.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer with expertise in the field of Sports Psychology to join the School of Health and Life Sciences at the University of the West of Scotland.

As a Lecturer, you will complement the growth of research and the advancement of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the Division of Sport and Exercise. You should have prior experience of working in a Higher Education environment, including module development and a track record of research publications. Applications are particularly welcome from individuals with expertise in psychomotor learning and sport performance.

You will join a progressive group of staff within the Division of Sport and Exercise who deliver one postgraduate programme and four undergraduate programmes at our recently developed Ayr and Lanarkshire campuses. Academic staff within the Division contribute to research in several areas, including coach development and education, digital health, healthy ageing, sport nutrition, paediatric physical activity, sport psychology, and team sport performance. The Division of Sport and Exercise sits within the School of Health and Life Sciences which collectively delivers a diverse range of programmes at our Lanarkshire, Paisley, Ayr and London campuses to a combined total of circa 6000 students.
