Come and work in London’s newest university interprofessional simulation and immersive technology team, teach some of the most diverse and dynamic health care students and help shape our future East End health care professionals – 4 posts available.
Following the appointment of Vice-Chancellor & President, Professor Amanda Broderick, the University has committed to a mission to advance industry 4.0 careers and lives, where we expand mental wealth, create careers, build business and connect communities in East London and beyond through our global gateway. A transformational strategic route-map was recently launched plotting our course to become the pioneering careers-led university for a changing world, where the future of learning and work is advanced today and potential is realised wherever and whenever it is found.
The range of departments highlights the range of courses on offer within the school and we are proud to work collaboratively with our NHS partners to look at new ways of working. Due to this the school is one of the leading organisations for developing courses that lead to new roles in healthcare, including the nursing associate role and deployment. The school is growing currently and will expand with the development of occupational therapy, advanced clinical practice and physicians associate as well as bespoke CPD programmes. The simulation facilities are currently undergoing a redesign and therefore are recruiting interprofessional staff who are registered healthcare professionals. This will enable the school to develop an interprofessional simulation team to enable highly effective simulation and skills teaching, which prepares students for the interprofessional roles they will be embarking on.
