The School’s MBChB curriculum emphasises problem-based learning (PBL), early patient contact and an emphasis on community-orientated clinical placements at every stage.
The School is now seeking to appoint a Lead at Senior Lecturer level in Simulation and Interprofessional Learning. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of the team as the Medical School, which opened to students in September 2023, enters its next phase of development.
The Simulation and Interprofessional Learning [IPL] Lead is responsible for ensuring that the Medical School provides clinical simulation education that is fully integrated within the curriculum for medical students. As well as designing appropriate simulation working areas and IPL scenarios, they will also make a significant contribution to clinical skills, practical teaching and assessment and contribute to the delivery of a high-quality student experience, working with the Phase Leads to ensure the MBChB programme curriculum is supported in respect of their discipline.
