We are seeking four enthusiastic and inspiring individuals to join UWE Bristol’s well-established, renowned and friendly Children and Young People’s Nursing programme team. We are looking for candidates with experience, passion and creativity to advance their academic careers and contribute to the delivery and enhancement of our BSc and MSc programmes, providing a key contribution to the BSc Hons Children’s Nursing.
We have four vacancies at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level, the entry level depending upon former teaching experience. Two of the posts are permanent (1.4 FTEs, and we can be flexible with how this is split between the successful candidates) and two are fixed term for 12 months (2.0 FTEs). The role will involve planning, leading and delivering teaching and assessment at foundation (degree apprenticeship), undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will contribute to theory-based and practice-based modules, supporting students in developing their intellectual and clinical skills, preparing them for the nursing workforce. You will therefore be expected to deliver high quality teaching, supervision and assessment in helping to build UWE Bristol’s reputation for nurse education regionally, nationally and internationally. You should be an experienced registered nurse with strong understanding of and commitment towards contemporary nursing standards and practices. Preferably, you should have a postgraduate qualification in a related field and relevant continuing professional development experience.
