The School of Nursing, Midwifery & Social Work is currently seeking to appoint Lecturer/Senior Lecturers working at an advanced practice level with preferably a non-medical prescribing qualification. There are two part time posts available; successful appointment to a post will therefore allow appointees to continue working within existing clinical practice roles to maintain credibility, subject to their employers agreement. These appointees may also be required to contribute to other areas of work within the School and wider Faculty depending on their subject expertise.
You will be committed to high quality, evidence-based learning and teaching and be able to facilitate learning principles, take on the role of personal tutor and engage in interprofessional facilitation for the students on the course. You will be expected to contribute to modules on the postgraduate courses related to your own expertise. You will also provide support to students during periods of practice placements and act as an academic assessor. An under-pinning principle of our work is the importance of the student experience and we would expect you to share this value and work in ways that will enhance it.
The post holder is required to be current on the NMC/HCPC register.
