Appointment to Senior Lecturer will be dependent on significant experience in curriculum design and delivery, as well as a doctorate or demonstrable equivalence in professional experience and status.
You will contribute to the theoretical, practical/simulation teaching and assessing of students undertaking the MSc in Advanced Practice programme (apprenticeship and non-apprenticeship versions) as well as support for the undergraduate programmes. The successful candidate will join a multi-professional team of enthusiastic, committed and friendly staff and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the School and the wider University. To reflect national multi-professional developments in Advanced Clinical Practice, we are encouraging applications from individuals with varied professional registration, for example nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and paramedics.

The post holder will be required to support ACP students through their academic and clinical development of the four pillars of advanced practice: clinical expertise, education, leadership and management, and research. You will have proven clinical experience at an advanced level of clinical practice and hold the V300 in Non-medical Prescribing. The post requires that you have sustained experience in physical assessment and advanced history taking in a clinical area and a good understanding of the current professional agenda and developments in relation to advanced practice.

You must be educated to Masters level and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council/HCPC including non-medical prescribing. You must also be committed to providing the very best student experience.
