You will join a team of committed and friendly staff who deliver pre-registration and post-registration nursing and healthcare courses at the University of Derby.

The post is based in the School of Nursing and Professional Practice, one of two subject areas within the College of Health, Psychology and Social Care. However, you will also be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues across different disciplines within the College. The subject area offers programmes ranging from those for unqualified support staff, to Honours, Masters and Doctoral Degrees, which include Community Specialist and Advanced Nursing Practice.

You will be innovative and creative in your role and will contribute to enhancing the quality of healthcare education, as well as taking forward the research and scholarship agenda. It is extremely important that you not only understand the student experience, but that you genuinely enjoy making a positive impact for them both in and out of classes.

The role will contribute to programme delivery across the suite of programmes offered by the Department, ranging from Foundation Degree to Masters’ as appropriate.

You will have a strong clinical and educational background in nursing and will focus on delivering an excellent student experience.
