An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Radiography in the School of Allied Health Professionals, in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer to teach across the School’s undergraduate curriculum in both University and clinical settings. The School offers high quality undergraduate and postgraduate provision and is part of a wider research community integrated within Schools and the Faculty.
Radiography is an exciting new development within the School and as such you will have the opportunity to be involved with the development and implementation of the programme. You will play a part in the development of educational initiatives aligned with the School strategic direction, and will pursue scholarly activities in line with the School focus. You will be an HCPC registered Radiographer (or equivalent), with an appreciation of the principles of teaching and learning in higher education. Although the priority for the School is to appoint a Radiographer with image reporting experience or image commenting skills, we will consider applications from Radiographers with current or previous substantive experience of general Radiography.
Depending upon the profile of the successful candidate it may be possible to explore longer term career development opportunities that involve research. The University is committed to operating flexible working practices wherever possible.
