The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the teaching and delivery of the Pharmacology programme, undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes, including non – medical prescribing and the academic and personal support of students. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions to the programme.
Professional registration/membership is an essential requirement for this role along with a first degree and preferably a teaching qualification. We are particularly interested in candidates with contemporary experience in Pharmacy. A commitment to undertaking a PhD and membership of the Higher Education Academy is an essential requirement of the role.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Pharmacy Education as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the sector.
