This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with neonatal experience to join our Nursing and Midwifery school based at the University of Hull and will predominantly be working with child nursing and midwifery students. You will be a highly motivated self-starter who thrives on teaching and supporting the development and progression of students whilst providing the best educational opportunities for the workforce. The purpose of this post is to work as a member of the academic team to providing theoretical and practice focused teaching for our child nursing and midwifery students in accordance with educational standards outlined by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. The post holder will have an active role in recruitment, teaching, clinical skills teaching, personal supervision, assessment, establishing and increasing engagement in the healthcare programmes across the sector. Experience in neonatal nursing is essential
We are looking for a registered Nurse with excellent leadership, management, communication and organisational skills, with experience in neonatal nursing.
Candidates should have good organisational, inter-personal, and communication skills, a student-centred approach, and have a passion for teaching, education and development activities as well as continued professional development.
This post will require an enhanced DBS check for Adult and Child Workforce.
