The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the teaching and delivery of the Children and young people Nursing and other Nursing programmes, undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes, including the academic and personal support of students. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions of the Nursing programme NMC registration is an essential requirement for this role along with a first degree and preferably a teaching qualification. We are particularly interested in candidates with contemporary experience in Nursing.
A commitment to undertaking a PhD and membership of the Higher Education Academy is an essential requirement of the role. Successful candidates should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Nursing Education as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the Nursing sector.
