An exciting opportunity has arisen for a nurse lecturer to support the delivery of programmes within the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, and we are seeking to recruit an Adult Nurse who holds professional registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council. As a lecturer contributing to our programmes that include Pre-registration nurse education and the Advanced Practice Programme, the post-holder will support curriculum development and delivery across these programmes.

This is a full-time academic post in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, which is part of the established UHI academic team, delivering education, scholarly activity and health research. As part of the wider multi-disciplinary academic team, the post-holder will work to the advancement of nurse education within the university and contribute to the planning and teaching of high-quality nursing educational opportunities and scholarship activity.

The successful candidate will be dynamic, enthusiastic, flexible and innovative with excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful post-holder will join a friendly team committed to the enhancement of nursing and midwifery education across the Highland and Islands, and further afield.
