Lecturer/Associate Professor in Paramedic Science

£42,792 to £49,553 per annum, or £51,034 to £59,135 per annum, pro rata for part-time

Post 1: Full time, indefinite, Lecturer/Associate Professor
Post 2: Part-time, 0.5 fte fixed-term to 31 July 2023, Lecturer
Post 3: Full time, 1 year fixed-term, Lecturer (part-time applications will be considered for this role).

The School of Health Sciences is seeking to appoint several lecturers in Paramedic Sciences to join our experienced and dedicated academic team, to provide vital educational input to the School’s pre-registration programmes in paramedic sciences.

You will have a good first degree (2:1 or above), and preferably a higher degree in a health-related discipline, as well as holding a professional registration as a healthcare professional. You will be able to demonstrate expertise and experience (post registration) of clinical practice in any field relevant to paramedics e.g. ambulance service, primary care, education, off-shore, prisons (this list is not exhaustive). Associate Professor candidates must have demonstrable experience of effective academic leadership.
