The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences (HSS) is central to this vision, working closely with practice partners to prepare and develop health care and social work professionals to provide high quality care. This role is based in the Department of Social Science & Social Work and offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within BU and with external partners in developing an excellent student experience.

You will preferably be qualified to Doctorate level or, alternatively be able to demonstrate the ability to create and disseminate knowledge through evidence of the development of professional practice at a senior level and the capability to convert this knowledge into a doctorate. You must be registered with the Health Care Professions Council and have relevant and recent practice and relevant teaching experience.

You will facilitate learning mainly across the qualifying social work programmes but there may be some opportunity to engage in the Continuing Professional Development programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and to engage with colleagues across the Faculty and University to take forward the research, professional practice and education agenda.

This post is available part-time for 0.5 FTE per week.
