UWE Bristol, School of Health and Social Wellbeing, is seeking a Field External Examiner. The post will be for 4 years commencing on 1st September 2025.
Essential: Applicants must be registered with a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), or with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

The subject cluster requires a Field External Examiner to represent a range of academic perspectives in the Field of Health and Social Care and the portfolio will cover some of the following modules:

  • Clinical Practice 2
  • Developing Your Clinical Practice 2
  • Enquiry Methods
  • Methods of Enquiry
  • Occupational Case Study
  • Principles of Management and Leadership
  • Professional Assessment
  • Professional Development
  • The Principles of Professional Assessment
  • The Principles of Professional Development

Please note, your final portfolio may require you to cover modules beyond this specific professional area. Some of the modules also include examining those delivered at our collaborative provision partners and therefore, familiarity with collaborative provision/partnerships is desirable.
