University College Birmingham requires an External Panel Member for the below specialising in these subject fields:

  • BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing
  • BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing Apprenticeship
  • BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing
  • BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing Apprenticeship

The Periodic Review will take place online on Tuesday 25th March 2025 and the in-person Validation on Tuesday 29th April 2025. The Validation will take place from 9:00am – 12:00pm at our campus: McIntyre House, 2 Holland St, Birmingham B3 1PW.

The University can pay a fee of £300 for the Periodic Review and £350 for the in-person Validation event and support travel and subsistence within guidelines.

The successful candidate will need to be higher education academic with experience in course design and delivery at a minimum of undergraduate level 6 and be of senior lecturer position or higher at a UK University or College.

The successful candidate will need to be a higher education nursing academic, with experience in nursing degree programme curriculum design (2018 NMC Future Nurse Curricula) and delivery at a minimum of undergraduate level 6 and be of senior lecturer position or higher at a UK University or College.
